ARK: Survival Ascended — because nothing says “girlboss” like taming a dinosaur and riding it into battle. Yes!!! The grind is real, the rage is real, but the moment you knock out a T-Rex and make it your loyal pet? Worth every meltdown. I love the sheer ambition of this game, the way it makes you feel tiny and powerful at the same time. My tribe and I have built things that should not exist, and I regret nothing.

Don’t Starve Together — the gothic little nightmare I adore. It’s punishing, it’s gorgeous, and it absolutely does not care about your feelings. Surviving the seasons with a friend while slowly losing your sanity (literally, it’s a meter) is the kind of bonding experience therapy can’t replicate. Bonus points for the art style, which is creepy in a way that makes me feel things. Anyway, I keep coming back to it like a moth to a very dangerous flame.
